The Roman and German philology department
Director - Denisova Galina Leonidovna, PhD in philology, professor.
The educational process is provided with modern computer class with foreign language training programs, the Internet, video and DVD players, satellite TV, rich methodical, educational and bélles-léttres literature, newest dictionaries. Fields of activity of graduates - translators and managers in foreign relations departments at enterprises, joint ventures; in travel business; lecturers of Higher schools. Our students participate in the international exchange programs.
The acting technique department
Director (since 2005) - Drozdova Natalya Stepanovna, the national artist of Russia. The department is unique in the system of higher education of Togliatti. It was established in 1998 by the director of the Drama theatre "Koleso" - Gleb Borisovich Drozdov. Members of the department consider skilful combination of theoretical and practical training to be the main part of education of an actor.
The Faculty - the People’s artists N.S. Drozdova and V.V. Dmitriev, honoured artist - Y.A. Repin, the member of the Actors Guild - Y.I. Yevgrafov. Fields of activity of graduates - theatres of Togliatti and Russia, cultural centers, TV.
Entrance examination:
Creative contest (a fable, a poem - not less than 3 minutes, the prose - a part of narration for not less than 3 minutes, an sketch on the instructions of a selection committee, singing a song - on the intrant’s option)
